Protein Panoramic annoTation Transfer (P2T2)

P2T2: tool for Protein Panoramic annoTation Transfer

The integration of patient-derived genomic information with publicly available annotation sources informative of clinical relevance is a key component in Individualized Medicine (IM); however, these data are often generated and stored using disparate methodologies and architectures. P2T2 is a web-based platform for:

  1. Annotation of proteins using extensive and diverse resources of:
    1. population variants
    2. experimentally determined functional variants
    3. phenotype-associated variants
    4. literature-mined variant-phenotype relationships
    5. linear motifs and domains
    6. experimental 3D structures
  2. Facilitating transfer of this information between closely related proteins via multiple sequence alignment that aid in determining pathogenicity or functional effects of variants.
